My Mathematics Success Story is...
I am a PhD maths graduate, researching on stochastic modelling of atmospheric dispersion. During my PhD studies, I encountered so many ups and downs that challenged my confidence. However my passion for mathematics didn’t stop, especially in the way that we communicate maths in our everyday lives. A few years ago, my PhD friends and I decided to start a maths magazine called Chalkdust, filled with fun puzzles and interesting maths stories. It was hard work and it became a big success publishing several issues. This experience and proud achievement helped boost my confidence remarkably. Apart from finishing my PhD, I’d say Chalkdust is one of my best success stories.
