Given their importance for jobs and university places the cancellation of UK national examinations due to the global pandemic was always going to produce a difficult year for those sitting them.
No one would wish this situation on any cohort of students. And so, regardless of the system chosen to award grades, the London Mathematical Society would like to unreservedly praise the hard work and dedication of students, teachers, parents and guardians, and the examination authorities, in these difficult times
